BUILDING THE LAKE BRANCH
Join us Thursday, October 7 at 7:00 PM in the Community Hall of the Old Church on the Commons to hear Dr. Dan Rager discuss the Lake Branch line. The story of this line begins as early as 1835 and spanned approximately 185 years. Over the timeline a dozen different railroad company names blanketed the road between Painesville and Youngstown, Ohio. Each company expanded and changed the route between Lake Geauga, and Trumbull Counties. The story of this branch has more turns and twists that the Grand River it was associated with.
