The Bedford Historical Society & Museum presents its Spring Speaker Series. These entertaining and educational talks are held on the second Friday of each month during March, April, and May at the Community Center in the lower level of the Old Church on the Commons, 750 Bedford, beginning at 7:00 PM. Come for the enjoyment; leave with an education!
On Friday March 11 put your Irish on as we invite Celtic Rush, a traditional Irish band with a nontraditional twist. COST is $5 per person at the door. All proceeds benefit the Society and Town Hall Museum. This is a COVID compliant event, FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Celtic Rush is a group of friends who have enjoyed performing throughout Northeast Ohio as well as West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The group performs with a variety of instruments including fiddle, guitars, tin whistle, upright bass, mandolin, and Irish drum (bodhran). Their music repertoire includes Irish and Scottish jigs, reels, hornpipes, waltzes, and polkas, sometimes adding unexpected non-traditional favorites. They have a sound that is fun and entertaining.
Please consider that parking at the Old Church is limited. Added parking is available along Broadway Avenue or in the city lot behind the train depot on the City Commons.
