During Christmas in Bedford Falls, stop by the historic Dunham House to experience “A Centennial Christmas.”
Visit the Tucker and Thompson families as they get ready to celebrate the 1876 Holiday Season with family and friends. Mrs. Tucker will be making a Christmas craft for visiting children from 1 to 2 PM and a 19th Century Children’s Christmas story will be read at 3 PM. During this unique immersion experience the Dunham House will be trimmed for a Victorian Christmas in celebration of 1876 as “the year of the century!” Come for the entertainment; leave with an education. Also on-hand will be Helen Pratt, giving a demonstration and historic overview of the Feather Christmas Tree. While you’re there, browse the Museum Shop & Emporium to purchase books on local history, vintage Christmas ornaments, and prints.
